Dr. Bahrami earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut in Mansfield, Connecticut. He stays active in the medical community with membership in a number of professional organizations, including the Institute for Functional Medicine, the Obesity Medicine Association, and the American Osteopathic Association.
