Eliot Light, MD

"Dr. Light has been practicing medicine on the Peninsula since 1984.

He earned a BA in Mathematics from the University of California at San Diego. He graduated from the University of California at Irvine School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Southern Califonia-Western Medical Center and is board certified in Family Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Light was the Monterey County Medical Society Physician of the Year in 2007-8.

He is an avid surfer, freediver, and snowboarder, plays stringed instruments, and likes to sing “old” music from the 60’s and 70’s. He enjoys the study of language and speaks French, Spanish, and Albanian.

He lives in Pacific Grove with his wife Anila, and their son, Daren. He has a daughter who lives in Japan."
