She then went on to earn her DO from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. She completed her residency in urban family medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC along with additional training in integrative medicine through a joint program with Andrew Weil's Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona.
