"Dr. Brian Dickinson received his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Brown University. At Brown, Dr. Dickinson took a special interest in the study of peripheral nerves and study of the nervous system. He was inducted into the Sigma Xi science honor society and won the Merck Award for organic chemistry.
Dr. Dickinson was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. At Mount Sinai he was a gross anatomy teaching fellow, was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and graduated at the top of his class. At Mount Sinai, Dr. Dickinson took a special interest into the study of surgery of the hand and upper extremity.
Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Dickinson entered the general surgery training and then plastic surgery training program at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center. While at UCLA, Dr. Dickinson received the Plastic Surgery Division Research Award and scored in the 98th percentile on the plastic surgery in-service examination two years in a row."
