Oded Herbsman, MD, FAAP

"Dr. Oded Herbsman is a board-certified pediatrician with 20 years experience caring for children in the Bay Area. Now at Discover Health in San Francisco’s North Beach, Dr. Herbsman provides the care for his patients he would give his own children, as has always been his philosophy. He combines evidence-based best practices with personalized, accessible, and compassionate care.

With a focus on whole-child and family-centered care, Dr. Herbsman’s practice provides the highest level of scientific knowledge combined with years of experience. He is a certified medical acupuncturist and Chinese herbal practitioner. The blend of Eastern and Western medicine, as well as his experience as a parent, give Dr. Herbsman a unique perspective inpatient care.

After graduating from Duke University School of Medicine, Dr. Herbsman completed his pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco. In addition to his current roles as the Vice Chair of the department Pediatrics and as a leader of Clinical Quality Assurance at California Pacific Medical Center, Dr. Herbsman also serves as the Vice Chief of staff for California Pacific Medical Center. He has a clinical affiliation with California Pacific Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital."
