"Dr. Rannalli is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner (CPNP) in Long Beach.

Dr. Rannalli received her PNP at California State University, Long Beach and her doctorate in nursing practice from the CSUF/CSULB/CSULA Consortium.

Dr. Rannalli began her nursing career as an RN pediatric nurse in the Pediatric ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at Miller Children’s Hospital, and at UCLA.  After leaving UCLA, she began working in the Cardiothoracic ICU at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  Dr. Rannalli worked in private practice as a PNP in Los Alamitos for 3 years. She has been teaching full-time in the nursing program at CSULB for the past 13 years. Dr. Rannalli currently works per diem at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as a PNP in the surgical admitting department.

Dr. Rannalli has felt fortunate to work in medical centers of excellence in the advancement and care of pediatric patients. Returning to school as a student in 2012 to obtain her doctorate in nursing has allowed her to become more involved in nursing research and improving the lives of the patients she comes in contact with on a daily basis.  Being a professor in nursing at CSULB allows her to impart her experience and knowledge to the nursing students."
