Dr. Mark attended Stanford University and completed degrees in biology and music. He received his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Valley Medical Center in San Jose. Following his ophthalmology training at Stanford University, he joined the teaching faculty at Stanford. He completed a two-year fellowship in corneal disease and surgery at Harvard.
He also worked as a research associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Eye Research Institute in Boston. His special interest areas are corneal diseases, laser vision correction, and cataract surgery. Dr. Mark is married and has two daughters and a son. His interests outside of being an eye doctor include music, tennis, and softball."
