"Elizabeth Shapard, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, RN, MSN, is a nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience trained in OB/GYN and psychiatry. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with an MSN in 2006 and relocated to Southern California in 2011.
After seeing a lack of mental health services for patients in the primary care setting, Elizabeth completed a postgraduate program at Cal State Long Beach to be able to provide psychiatric care to her patients. Elizabeth finds the field of behavioral health and addiction to be both challenging and rewarding, and wants to help decrease the stigma of mental illness. Elizabeth grew up in western Kentucky and lives in Los Angeles with her two dogs. She enjoys traveling, reading, and walking her dogs."
