Radha Lewis, MD

"Dr. Radha Lewis is a board-certified family physician who brings 15 years of experience and specialized training in Women’s Health to treating patients at Discover Health, located in San Francisco’s North Beach. Her philosophy is to form a healing partnership with her patients. By taking the time to get know a person thoroughly, she helps them to better understand their own health care needs. She combines the best that Western evidence-based medicine has to offer with elements of complementary and alternative treatment to develop a personalized wellness plan based on her patient's lifestyle, values, and treatment goals. She offers well-rounded, compassionate and collaborative care to adults and teenage pediatric patients.

Dr. Lewis grew up in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and stayed close to home for her higher education, graduating from Harvard University with a major in Medical Ethics. Afterward, she attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. Upon graduation, she moved to California, where she completed her training at the UCSF/Sutter Medical Center in Santa Rosa, California, as well as a Fellowship in Women’s Health and Family Planning at the USC/LA County Women’s Hospital. Never one to sit still, Dr. Lewis also found time to complete a Master of Science in Clinical Research and Investigation from the University of Southern California.

In her free time, she listens to live music, practices Bikram yoga, and backpacks the backcountry of Northern California and the Pacific Northwest."
