"I attended College at UC Irvine and graduated at the top of my class in Chemistry and Art History. Osteopathic Medical School was a good fit for me because the philosophy of a whole person approach and emphasis on human anatomy appealed to my sensibilities as a healer and artist. After medical school at Western University in Pomona, Ca, I completed my internal medicine residency in Los Angeles, and moved to San Francisco. My board certification is in Internal Medicine since 2001.
As I have continued the practice of medicine over the last 20 years, my orientation and approach has gone beyond the paradigm of disease to a broader perspective of health that considers how we can optimize the aging process both inside and out.
I have a deep love for learning and a curious nature and as a result I am a perpetual student. I received my Masters in Public Health at UC Berkeley in 2008, Foundational certification in Ayurveda from the California College of Ayurveda in 2011. Most recently I completed a 2 year fellowship in Anti Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine through offered by the American Academy of Anti- Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Additionally, I have certifications in IV vitamin therapy, Ozone Therapy, Ayurvedic body therapy. I also have extensive non surgical Aesthetics injectable training in Botox, dermal fillers, Micro Needling with PRP."
