"Amy Daniher was born and raised in Kansas City. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and was honored as one of the best senior residents. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Daniher began private practice in San Mateo in 2001. She initially was part of the Mills Peninsula Medical Group before she became an independent physician. She has served as the medical director for several senior living communities on the Peninsula. She is listed as one of the Top Doctors of 2019 by San Francisco Magazine.
Dr. Daniher enjoys working with patients of all ages, but especially her older patients. She has a special interest in celiac disease and gluten intolerance.
Dr. Daniher is married and resides on the peninsula. She has three children. When not caring for patients she enjoys being outdoors, photography, gardening and North Carolina basketball."
