"Ulrike Sujansky is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has been practicing in San Mateo, California since 1997.
Dr. Sujansky was born in Germany, but came to the United States as a small child. She grew up in the outskirts of Washington, D.C., before attending college at Harvard University and graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Sujansky came to the Bay Area to attend medical school at Stanford University and then went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency program at Stanford as well.
After completing her medical training, Dr. Sujansky started practicing medicine in San Mateo in 1997 and has been treating the people of the community ever since. In 2007, she completed acupuncture training at the Helms Medical Institute, which is affiliated with UCLA and Stanford University, and began providing acupuncture treatments for her patients as well. Dr. Sujansky was elected vice chair of the Department of Medicine at Peninsula Hospital from 2015 until 2017. She then served as the Chair of the Department of Medicine at Peninsula Hospital from July of 2017 until June of 2019.
Dr. Sujansky is married and has two sons, born in 2000 and 2003. She loves to spend her free time by skiing at Kirkwood, sharing good meals with friends and family, and trying desperately to keep up with her two growing boys."
