Gary D. Zweig, MD

"Born in Rochester, NY, he returned after college to attend the University of Rochester Medical School, graduating with “Distinction and High Honors.” He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society. Dr. Zweig’s Internship and Residency were completed at the University of Chicago. He was then selected to stay on as a Fellow in General Internal Medicine, to teach and receive additional training in both general and subspecialty areas. Afterwards, with his wife, Susan, he moved to Palo Alto, and began working in a multi-disciplinary group. In 1998, he left group practice to start his own private office in Palo Alto and joined the Department of Medicine at Stanford Hospital. This enabled him to further personalize his healthcare, and to create an environment that is both warm and welcoming for his patients. In 2008, to provide the ultimate level of individualized care, he transitioned from a private practice to a custom concierge practice. Susan and Gary live in their home in Palo Alto where they have raised their three sons."
