"Medicine physician and a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Kutzscher has been practicing in San Francisco since 1988. Born and raised in western New York State, she attended college and medical school in Washington, D.C. She completed her first two years of residency program at Georgetown University Hospital where she met her husband and decided to move with him to San Francisco. There she finished her third year of residency and was selected Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center.
Following residency, Dr. Kutzscher participated in the public health service, working for two years in a Hispanic family practice clinic in the East Bay. Soon after starting at Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center, she was promoted to Medical Director. During a two-year departure from the Bay Area to accompany her husband for his Fellowship, she served as Medical Director of Employee Health at the hospital in which he worked. She returned to SF to set up in private practice, where she has maintained her practice at California Pacific Medical Center since then.
Dr. Kutzscher cherishes her long-term relationships with her patients.
She enjoys practicing the most comprehensive treatment and preventive care for her patients of all ages, from age 18 to 100. Her goals are to provide the most comprehensive preventive care available, to help manage chronic health issues and to enable patients to succeed in their own personal health care goals. She believes that patient advocacy of care, especially coordination between members of the health care team, and effective communication between patient and physician allow for the highest level of care in a complex medical environment."
