Jennifer L. Knox, MD, MPH

"Dr. Knox is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and on staff at Hoag Memorial Hospital. Prior to joining Newport Beach Medical Associates, she was medical director at Coast Internal Medicine Consultants in Newport Beach for 7 years.

Dr. Knox received her Bachelors Degree in Physiological Sciences and Classical Civilization from the University of California at Los Angeles, where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her Medical Degree, as well as Masters Degree in Public Health with an emphasis on International Health, from New York Medical College in New York where she graduated with honors. During this time, Dr. Knox gained experience in medicine abroad, training at hospitals and clinics in Europe and Australia, as well as volunteering with Doctors for Global Health/Medicos por el Derecho a la Salud in El Salvador training village health care workers and taking care of patients in the village clinics. Dr. Knox completed her residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA. During her medical training, she worked doing research for the UCLA Heart Transplant center and the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Lung Transplant team."
