"Dr. Lawrence is board-certified in internal medicine and most recently completed a geriatric medicine fellowship at UCLA. She loves taking care of patients in a variety of settings, including the clinic, home, hospital and nursing home. She earned her MD from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine. During medical school, she was chosen to participate in a research program on aging at Harvard Medical School, where she learned from the nation’s top faculty in geriatric medicine. She is currently a staff member at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Little Company of Mary Torrance.
Dr. Lawrence has a true passion for helping people live their best lives. She will go to any length to ensure that her patients have the care they deserve. She feels personally invested in her patients’ health and their lives as a whole. Being a physician is a calling for her, not just a job. That’s why she brings genuine energy and her positive spirit to every interaction with her patients.
She likes building long-term relationships with her patients and working toward the shared goals of optimal health. She believes that giving her patients the ability to contact her at any time is the healthiest, safest and most satisfying way to care for them. Her primary areas of focus include caring for older adults, managing chronic diseases and dementia, women’s health and weight management."
