"Dr. Diego Allende was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His family came to America when he was a young child and settled in the San Francisco Bay area. When not at school or playing sports, Dr. Allende and his brothers worked in the family auto-body shop business growing up. “I learned the value of hard work, sacrifice, and doing things the right way,” says Dr. Allende. Upon graduation of high school, Dr. Allende enrolled at San Jose State University where he majored in psychology while continuing to work full time.
After graduating from San Jose State University, Dr. Allende enrolled in medical school in New York. While in medical school he continued to work at a grocery store part-time until the school offered to pay him to tutor his fellow classmates. After a year in New York, Dr. Allende transferred schools and came back to the west coast to be closer to home. After graduating medical school and completing his internship and residency at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Allende became board certified in family medicine. He began to practice medicine as an Osteopathic Physician and opened the Allende Centre for Regenerative Medicine & Vitality.
When he is not the official Ringside Doctor for a sporting event in California, Dr. Diego enjoys traveling with his wife Amira and spending time with family and friends at every opportunity. He is a fitness buff and maintains a healthy lifestyle regimen of weight lifting, outdoor exercise, good food and relaxation."
