"Paul Manney joined Will and Kerrigan Family Medicine in June 2013. He graduated from Houghton College in New York with a Pre-Med degree, and after working in a hospital lab for two years, attended the George Washington University PA program from which he graduated with a joint PA/MPH degree in 1994. Having grown up in South America, and studied in the northeast, he came to California to fulfill Public Health Service scholarship repayment service in the border town of Calexico. Fully bilingual in Spanish, Paul was able to communicate and educate effectively to the American community and migrant farm workers alike. Over the 19 years of his career as a Physician Assistant, he has accumulated experience in such diverse fields as:Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Correctional Facilities, Veterans Hospitals, Orthopedic Medicine, and even a brief period in the Amazon doing tropical medicine. In these diverse settings, he developed a highly competent clinic practice and for numerous years assisted orthopedic surgeons in the OR. Paul moved to Palm Desert in 2004, with his wife Yoly and their children, having joined the Orthopedic Institute in Palm Springs. Paul enjoys reading, hiking, the outdoors, and family."
