"Brian Borsook, MD, Ph.D. of Familly Medicine Center of Torrance took the long road en route to becoming a physician. Initially devoting himself to psychology, counseling, and teaching, he switched focus to physical healing at St. Louis University School of Medicine. Returning to his native California to serve his internship and residency at the University of California Irvine Medical Center, Dr. Borsook brought his passion for enhancing life quality for his patients to his medical practice in Torrance. Licensed to practice in California since 1997, he is a community leader in medicine, as well as a mentor to physicians in training. Dr. Borsook unwinds by indulging his love for playing guitar, traveling, swimming, cycling, and gardening. Dr. Borsook speaks Spanish, French, and German as well as English.
