"Michael B. Horsley is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in both glaucoma and cataracts.
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Spanish at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Dr. Horsley attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then moved to Arizona for internship at Tucson Medical Center. Dr. Horsley completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado, Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute, where he served as Chief Resident in his senior year. He then completed a glaucoma fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Horsley is published in many major ophthalmic journals on a variety of subjects including glaucoma care. He has presented at multiple national conferences as well. Dr. Horsley is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Glaucoma Society, the Chandler Grant Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is licensed to practice medicine in Arizona and Massachusetts.
Dr. Horsley was born and raised in Rockford, IL. He enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, and above all, spending time with his family."
