Elizabeth Nafornita, FNP-C

"Elizabeth Nafornita is a board certified family nurse practitioner who joined the Arizona Dermatology family in November 2019. Elizabeth graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with honors from Oakland University in Rochester, MI, 2014. Thereafter, she worked as a registered nurse in the operating room, outpatient plastic surgery, and dermatology. Upon recognizing her passion for dermatology, Elizabeth decided to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN graduating in 2019. During her time at Walden University, Elizabeth earned a membership into the National Society of Leadership and Success. Currently, she is a member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association, the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.   Elizabeth’s focus is in medical dermatology. Her clinical interests include skin cancer surveillance, acne, rosacea, wart treatment, eczema, psoriasis and other skin rashes, as well as, minor surgeries. She cares for patients across the life span, from pediatrics to geriatrics.   Elizabeth’s care philosophy is structured on providing compassionate care that is personalized and incorporates the patient as a member of the health care team. Elizabeth will work to develop an effective and efficient treatment plan while ensuring that her patient’s feel comfortable and cared for. Much of her care is also based on health promotion and patient education.   Elizabeth is fluent in Romanian."
