"Gregory M. Hoffpauir, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract treatment and general ophthalmology, as well as the medical treatment of diabetic retinopathy and retinal holes. He has been practicing ophthalmology since 1993 and has remained on the leading edge of medical technology in his specialty area of eye health. He performs clear cornea cataract surgery utilizing the astigmatism and presbyopia correcting lenses such as the Toric and ReStor IOLs. In addition to his comprehensive experience in cataract treatments, Dr. Hoffpauir’s expertise also encompasses the management of glaucoma and retinal disease, as well as reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid procedures. He is also highly skilled in strabismus correction, having trained with the highly renowned pediatric ophthalmologist Earl Crouch, M.D.
Dr. Hoffpauir’s medical degree was awarded from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He then completed his ophthalmology residency as Chief Resident at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Hoffpauir completed ophthalmic pathology training at the Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital (LSU Medical Center) in Baton Rouge, LA."
