Dr. Madonia completed her undergraduate education Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, and received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. Her internal medicine internship and her ophthalmic residency were completed at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, where she also served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. After her residency, Dr. Madonia completed her oculoplastic and neuro-ophthalmology fellowship under the direction of Thomas Spoor, M.D., in Warren, MI. She is a published researcher and member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology."
